Description
Size: 7ft 10in x 5ft 0in (239 x 153cm).Antique Caucasian Derbent rug of the classic 3 star medallion design, each of the eight pointed stars contains motifs that can be traced back hundreds of years in rug weaving tradition.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug is of a very soft indigo blue, typical for rugs from this region.
The rug is in excellent condition with only slight even wear and good pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display, the rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
