Description
Size: 6ft 11in x 4ft 11in (211 x 150cm).Antique South West Persian Khamseh tribal rug of beautiful design and rich colour.
Circa 1900.
A very unusual Khamesh rug with triple medallion design, the field is filled with tribal design elements such as flowers, shrubs and heratti. The border design is very good including a pair of barbers pole borders.
The rug is of a very useful square shape.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
