Description
Size: 4ft 10in x 3ft 6in (148 x 106cm).Antique South West Persian tribal rug, Shiraz region, probably by settled weavers from the Khamseh tribe.
Circa 1920
A good small rug with a large ivory ground border with a leaf design.
The rug is of triple linked medallion format with a field filled with floral rosettes.
The ground colour is an soft madder red.
Very good condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
Hand washed and ready for use.
An excellent furnishing rug suitable for normal domestic use.
