Description
Size: 6ft 8inx 5ft 1in (203 x 155cm).Antique South West Persian Khamseh tribal rug with two medallions and the well know 'bird' design. Note the numerous chickens and other birds along with many small animals.
Circa 1880.
This rug is an excellent example of Khamseh tribal weaving.
The rug has even wear with medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
A superb collectible display item.
