Description
Size: 4ft 10in x 2ft 11in (147 x 89cm).Antique Baluch camel ground prayer rug with 'tree of life' design.
Circa 1900..
The rug is beautifully drawn and has excellent colour, the camel wool ground is very soft. The rug retains the original kilim end finishes at both ends. Of particular note are the dates woven in to each of the hand panels.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear, and good pile. There are very slight losses to the kilim ends.
The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
