Description
Size: 2ft 3in x 1ft 11in (108 x 83cm).Antique North Persian Jaf Kurd bag face of diamond lattice design with good soft colour including light blues, soft reds, greens, yellows and pinks.
Circa 1900.
The bag face is of a large size and is well drawn with a hooked medallion lattice, surrounded by a floral rosette border. Note how the inner border changes at the top, differing from the sides.
The design is classic Jaf Kurd.
The bag face is in fair condition with even wear and low pile, there is corrosion to the brows as would be expected. The wool is very soft and the bag face has a floppy handle.
The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
