Description
Size: 6ft 8in x 3ft 1in (203 x 93cm).Antique Baluch rug with lattice design and a camel border.
Circa 1900.
A superb Baluch rug with a lotus leaf lattice design in blue/green and aubergine on a soft madder red field. The border is on a camel wool ground.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. There is slight corrosion to the lotus leaf design. The rug has very good wool and also retains the original kilims at both ends, these have weft work decoration.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
