Description
Size: 6ft 8in x 4ft 7in (202 x 140cm).A good old example of the very popular Persian Bakhtiari 'garden design'. Each of the compartments contains a stylized tree or shrub, many of the trees have small birds in them.
Circa 1900/20.
The rug has very nice old colours that give it a warmth and lived with feeling. The ivory ground border complements the rug well.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
