Description
Size: 6ft 5in x 4ft 3in (195 x 130cm).A unusual example of a North West Persian village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region.
Circa 1900.
The rug is of an all over floral design with a large cloud band motif at each end.
The rug has a well-drawn floral design and very pleasing soft pastel colours on a dark indigo ground.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium/low pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
