About 15 years old.
This large aubusson is in the grand style of 19th century France, the ivory ground has a large single medallion surrounded by a quartered lattice with floral designs, The overall colour pallet is very soft and pastel. Aubusson carpets of this size are rare and difficult to find in the market today.
The aubusson is in excellent condition with no defects.
The aubusson has been backed with white linen to give it extra strength and durability.
The aubusson is suitable for normal domestic use.
The aubusson has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
