Description
Size: 10ft 7in x 2ft 7in (322 x 80cm).Old Anatolian kilim from the Malayta region of Turkey.
Circa 1920.
Well drawn with excellent soft colour. Malatya kilims have a firm weave making them very durable, the embroidered technique is known as ci-cim. The kilim is of an ideal size and shape for use as a runner.
Very good condition, slight wear. Suitable for normal domestic use.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
