Description
Size: 5ft 2in x 3ft 1in (158 x 93cm).Antique Kordi rug from Eastern Persia, Khorasan region.
4th quarter 19th century.
A superb Kurdish rug with a diamond lattice design in alternate rows of indigo blue. The large scale border is of classic Kordi design as is the ivory running dog guards.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile. The rug has very good wool and also retains the original kilims at both ends.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
