Size: 5ft 11in x 4ft 10in (181 x 148cm).A good village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region with an unusual all over shrub design.
Circa 1900/20.
This is an interesting rug with a scarce all over flowering shrub design on a rich madder red field.
The border has a well-drawn floral design on an ivory ground.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. A very attractive furnishing rug.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
