Description
Size: 8ft 10in x 6ft 4in (270 x 194cm).Old Afghan village carpet with Ersari Turkmen chuval gul design.
Circa 1920.
The carpet is of a soft brown field colour, with 4 rows of 14 chuval guls. The border design is typical Afghan Turkmen.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear with full pile. The carpet has good glossy wool and retains the original short kilim end finishes at both ends.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
