Description
Size: 5ft 6in x 3ft 2in (168 x 97cm).Antique Baluch rug from South East Persia. This is a rare example of a Ferdows Baluch rug of the simplest form, there are only a dozen or so recorded examples.
2nd half 19th century.
A superb Baluch rug with a large scale floral design related to the heratti design. The rug is very well drawn with a superb range of colours.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for display.
