Description
Size: 4ft 2in x 2ft 8in (128 x 82cm).Old Afghan village prayer rug with rams horn design to the Mihrab.
Circa 1920.
The rug has excellent colours with only soft red and dark indigo blue being used. The wool is soft and glossy. A truly outstanding example of Afghan weaving.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile. The rug retains the original end finishes at both ends.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
