Description
Size: 12ft 8in x 9ft 7in (386 x 293cm).Antique Tabriz carpet of good room size with a very well drawn classical Persian design on a dark indigo blue ground.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a very elegant feel and would grace any room. The drawing of the carpet is very fine and detailed, the colours and design of the border give the carpet a light feel. The carpet is signed in the border, it is the name of the work shop who made it, 'Nemat Zadeh'.
The carpet is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The is one small area of slightly heavier wear. The carpet is very finely woven with excellent wool.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a dining room or a living room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
