Description
Size: 4ft 7in x 3ft 10in (140 x 117cm).Antique Persian Afshar rug of the Neriz type from the Kerman region of Southern Persia.
Circa 1900.
The rug has an all over repeat floral design on an ivory ground, the floral borders have some very attractive soft indigo blue..
The rug is in fair condition with even wear and medium pile. There is some wear to the side bindings and corrosion to the browns. The condition is reflected in the price.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
