Size: 4ft 11in x 1ft 7in (150 x 48cm)Antique Ersari Beshir Turkmen torba of classic design.
Late 19th century.
An excellent example of Beshir weaving, a classic Beshir design with excellent colour. These weavings are often considered to be dowry weavings as they were used to decorate the camel during the wedding procession.
The torba is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile, it has a very soft floppy handle. The torba is complete with the original long tassels.
Hand washed and ready for display.
