Description
Size: 11ft 8in x 7ft 10in (355 x 240cm).Old Persian Nain rug, wool and silk on a cotton foundation.
About 30 years old.
The carpet is of fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool with silk high lights. The carpet has a velvet like feel.
The carpet has a floral design around a central medallion and has amazing detail, it is an good example of type. This is a carpet of good quality that would grace any room.
The colours are superb, with an ivory ground with the design in beautiful soft pastel colours. The border has the same design as the field with an ivory ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile, and has recently been hand washed.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet is ready for use or display.
