Description
Size: 7ft 1in x 5ft 3in (215 x 161cm).A good Kurdish village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region.
Circa 1900/20.
This rug is a good example of Persian village weaving, with a pleasing design and superb colours. The rug has a large central medallion in a soft peach orange.
The border has a well-drawn floral design and is on an indigo blue ground.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. A very attractive furnishing rug of good size.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
