Description
Size: 6ft 5in x 4ft 6in (195 x 137cm).Antique South West Persian Kashkuli Qashqai rug, with triple medallion design, outstanding drawing and colour. The two large medallions and small central medallion are surrounded by a field with the herati design. Note the beautifully drawn main border on an ivory ground.
Late 19th century.
The rug is in outstanding condition with full pile and only slight signs of wear, original kilim end finish at the lower end.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
