Size: 6ft 11in x 4ft 4in (212 x 131cm).Antique Persian Faraghan rug of the garden shrub design with a small single medallion.
Circa 1900.
This is a superb example of a Faraghan rug with fine weave and a very well drawn shrub design in a lattice format with a small central medallion. The colours are really outstanding and give the rug a light feel even though it has a dark indigo blue field. The rug has a classic feel and would grace any home complementing fine antique furniture.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
