Description
Size: 7ft 0in x 4ft 5in (214 x 134cm).Antique Southern Persian Afshar rug with all over large boteh design.
Circa 1900/20.
A very well made rug with a pleasing large scale boteh design on a indigo blue field. The boteh are well drawn and include the use of a soft green to the center of the flower. Of particular note are the weft work panels at both ends of the rug.
Good condition with slight even wear and good pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
