Description
Size: 14ft 10in x 10ft 0in (451 x 306cm).Antique carpet of classic medallion design and outstanding colour.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a large elongated central medallion in soft red on a dark indigo blue ground, with a floral spray design in reds, blues and ivory, with highlights in soft yellows, greens and pinks.
The border is an outstanding feature of this carpet being of large scale with a flowing design on a soft red ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use such as a dining or living room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
