Size:10ft 0in x 8ft 4in (305 x 253cm).Old Persian Isfahan carpet, lambs wool on a very fine cotton foundation.
About 30 years old.
The carpet is of very fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool. The carpet has a velvet like feel.
The carpet has a floral design around a central medallion and has amazing detail, it is an excellent example of type. This is a carpet of high quality that would grace any room.
The colours are superb, with an red ground with the design in beautiful clear colours. The deep indigo border contrasts well with the red ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile, this carpet is probably unused.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
