Description
Size: 5ft 8in x 3ft 8in (172 x 112cm).Antique Caucasian Shirvan rug with repeat medallion design, the rug has old faded colours on a dark indigo blue ground.
Circa 1900.
The rug contains the early dye ‘Fuchsine’, so it can be dated to the latter part of the 19th century or 1900 at latest.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
