Description
Size: 9ft 10in x 7ft 7in (300 x 230cm).South west Persian Qashqai tribal carpet of traditional design and excellent colour.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a madder red field with a small central medallion containing the Qashqai tribal emblem. The field is filled with 100's of tribal elements and small animals.
The carpet has superb array of wonderful colours throughout.
The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, an excellent furnishing carpet.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
