Size: 5ft 11in x 4ft 6in (180 x 135cm).Antique South West Persian Khamseh Rug with cane design.
Circa 1880.
A good example of a Khamseh tribal rug, cane design with two medallions. Each of the medallions is filled with tribal elements including pecking chickens.
The border is of a classic Khamseh design.
Excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display, the rug is suitable for light domestic use.
