Description
Size: 6ft 3in x 2ft 7in (190 x 80cm).Old Persian Hamadan village runner of useful small size.
Circa 1920/30.
The runner has an all over repeat design on an red ground, framed by a light coloured border. The border design suggests that this runner was made in the village of Sarabent.
The runner is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and almost full pile.
The runner has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
The runner is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
Small old runners of this size are scarce and hard to find.
