Description
Size: 6ft 6in x 3ft 3in (198 x 100cm).Antique Heriz region village rug of single medallion design.
Circa 1900.
The rug is from one of many weaving villages in the area and also has a feel of Bakshaish weaving. There is a large central medallion in reds and shades of indigo blue, the corners are in camel coloured wool.
Excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. This is a strong rug suitable for heavy domestic use.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
