Description
Size: 4ft 9in x 3ft 2in (145 x 97cm).Antique Ersari Turkmen 12 gul chuval with pleasing green used throughout.
Circa 1900.
The chuval is well drawn with twelve large chuval guls in alternating colours, the border design and the minor guls are all classic Turkmen designs. The elem is in the Turkmen tree design. This chuval contains an unusually large amount of soft green.
The chuval in in good condition with some wear with medium pile, lower in a few places.
Hand washed and ready for use or display. This would and excellent small rug, ideal as a hearth rug.
