Size: 8ft 8in x 4ft 1in (264 x 125cm).Antique Caucasian Kazak long rug of early date.
Circa 1860.
An excellent example of an early Kazak long rug, the three medallions are drawn with a freedom not found in later examples. Excellent soft glossy wool with superb colour including a very nice green.
Excellent condition with slight even wear and good long pile, the ends have been over bound and there are a few scattered replacement knots.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
