Size: 4ft 6in x 2ft 4in (138 x 71cm).Antique Persian Kashan rug of tradition design, central medallion and very fine floral design.
Circa 1900.
The rug is of traditional Kashan design, a small central medallion on a Royal burgundy ground, with floral sprays at each end. The burgundy field has a clear line of abrash going across it. This is a very finely woven rug with great detail and outstanding colour, the wool is very soft 'Kork' lambs wool.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
