Description
Size: 11ft 1in x 7ft 3in (337 x 220cm).Antique Yomut Turkmen Palas soumak kilim of large size with long decorated kilim ends.
Circa 1900.
These kilims are of very sturdy construction with a subtle colour palette. Note the very long plain kilim ends with bands of decoration. The design is an all over repeat lattice. This example is woven in shades of indigo blue, with a very soft madder red and highlights in ivory
The kilim is in excellent condition with very slight wear.
The kilim is suitable for normal domestic use.
