Description
Size: 5ft 6in x 3ft 7in (167 x 109cm). Excluding tassels.A good Persian Qum silk rug with a pastel colours and a small central medallion.
About 50 years old.
The rug has a ivory coloured field, filled with floral sprays in pastel colours around a dark indigo blue small medallion. The border in dark indigo blue has a linked floral design. The rug has a very attractive look and a warm feel.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The rug has been hand washed recently.
Silk pile on a silk foundation.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
Please note: Silk rugs are difficult to photograph due to the light reflecting off the very shiny surface, light areas are not fading, they are just light reflections. The close up images show the truest colours.
