Size: 5ft 5in x 4ft 0in. (165 x 121cm)Vintage Turkish Kazak rug from the Kars region of eastern Turkey. Caucasian Shirvan design.
About 40 years old.
The rug has the well known Shirvan medallion design on a dark blue ground; which is covered with small traditional tribal devices. The border is of classic Caucasian design on an ivory ground.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use.
Hand washed and ready for use.
