Size: 6ft 8in x 6ft 8in (203 x 203cm). Circular.Vintage Persian Nain rug, lambs wool on a fine cotton foundation.
About 40 years old.
The rug is of fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool, the rug has a very soft feel. The rug has a small central medallion design with fine detail in soft pastel colours including a very pleasing light blue, the field is filled with small flowers on an ivory ground.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile, and has recently been hand washed.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
Circular classical rugs such as this are quite scarce, this is a very good example.
