Size: 15ft 2in x 9ft 8in (462 x 295cm).Antique Afghan carpet with traditional Ersari design, this carpet has superb colour with a very good warm rich red field. The carpet has four rows of eight large guls which are drawn in a dark indigo blue.
Circa 1900.
The carpet is of a large room size. The carpet was woven by settled Ersari weavers in Northern Afghanistan.
The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic floor use.
