Size: 3ft 0in x 2ft 9in (92 x 84cm).Antique Uzbek Tartari saddlebag face with outstanding colour.
Circa 1900.
This saddlebag face is an excellent example of Uzbek Tartari weaving, the traditional design is woven in interlocking tapestry weave with twinning technique. The foundation is goats hair.
The bag face is in excellent condition with very slight wear.
