Size: 5ft 1in x 3ft 3in (156 x 100cm).Antique Caucasian Shirvan rug with floral 'tulip' lattice on a dark indigo blue ground.
Circa 1890.
A good example of type with very nicely coloured tulips within a light blue lattice design. A beautiful rug with warm colours, that glow with a jewel like quality. The rug has a classic border design which frames the rug well in soft pastel colours.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and medium pile.
A very sweet small rug of useful size.
