Size: 12ft 10in x 3ft 10in (390 x 117cm).Antique Caucasian Alpan-Kuba runner of classic linked medallion design.
Circa 1900.
A truly outstanding runner with five linked medallions in a rich red on a dark indigo blue ground. Each medallion has a floral design surrounded by flowers and other traditional devices. The beautifully drawn border frames the runner very well.
Outstanding colours through out.
True showroom condition, very slight even wear with good pile, some corrosion to the blacks.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
