Size: 12ft 0in x 9ft 5in (365 x 288cm).Antique Heriz carpet with a very well-drawn and striking large medallion with superb colours through out.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has a large central star medallion of traditional Heriz design, the ground colour is a superb madder red with a terracotta / rust tone, with the open floral spray design in pastel colours. The spandrels are in soft powder blue which creates a very light feel to the carpet. The well drawn indigo blue classic Heriz border frames the carpet well.
A superb designers carpet for that timeless country house look.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use such as a living or dining room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
