Size: 3ft 3in x 2ft 0in (100 x 60cm) side panel size.A complete south Caucasian mafrash storage bag with striped base.
Circa 1920.
A good example of a mafrash storage bag, used for transporting goods during the migration and for storage within the tribal tent. This example is in soumak, with a traditional design. The base is in striped plain weave.
Excellent condition with slight wear.
