Size: 3ft 0in x 1ft 1in (91 x 33cm) face size.Antique Tekke Turkmen torba of very fine weave, with 'curled leaf' design.
Circa 1850-75.
A very interesting Tekke Turkmen torba face of very fine weave, the design is a good example of the 'curled leaf' but with the added interest of a row of eight alternating 'Aina' guls.
The torba is in fair condition with even wear and fine medium pile, there are some obvious old repairs and other sign of use. The condition is reflected in the price.
