Description
Size: 5ft 7in x 3ft 4in (172 x 102cm).Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of small size, this size of rug is known as ‘dip khali’.
Circa 1880.
The rug is well drawn with large round guls, and complete ‘bow and arrow’ at the ends of the minor guls. The colours are superb with a deep red and a beautiful soft green.
The rug is in excellent condition with very even wear, and good pile. There are a few very well done old repairs. There is some corrosion to the greens.
The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
