Description
Size: 7ft 5in x 5ft 0in (226 x 152cm).Old Afghan village rug of very unusual design. The rug is very well made with superb soft wool and it has a soft floppy handle.
About 60 years old.
Both ends retain the original decorated kilims and fringes.
The main field colour is a very pleasing soft red.
A really good example of an Afghan village weaving.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
