Size: 5ft 2in x 2ft 7in (156 x 79cm).
Antique Baluch rug of charming small size, the design is four large guls each containing an eight pointed star, it is likely that the rug was woven by the Yaqub Khani sub tribe.
Circa 1900.
The selvedge is four cords overbound in goats hair.
The rug has heavy abrash at one end in a brighter red, this adds to the appearance and charm of the rug.
The rug is in good condition with some wear and corrosion to the blacks.
The pile is medium to low.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
