Description
Size: 7ft 10in x 4ft 4in (240 x 133cm).Antique South Caucasian Kazak with single medallion on a soft blue ground.
Circa 1900.
A superb example of a South Caucasian Kazak rug. Single long latch hook medallion on a light indigo blue ground. The medallion is surrounded by tribal elements. The rug has a well drawn ivory ground border.
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile, the rug has excellent wool with long glossy pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
