Description
Size: 7ft 2in x 4ft 3in (218 x 130cm).Antique North West Persian Kurdish rug with unusually large border.
Circa 1900.
A beautiful rug, well drawn with three medallions on an indigo blue ground, half of another medallion is emerging at the lower end. Note the two small animals. The border is the outstanding feature of this rug, drawn on a large scale that would normally only be found on a carpet.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
